Table Air Combat is a fast, simple air combat game that can be played on any flat surface. Each ruleset is a self-contained game including cut-out miniatures of one aircraft and a set of rules. All you need are some six-sided dice and some coins to provide weight for the aircraft counters. Each player has a flight of four fighters, represented by two counters. Aircraft counters move by means of curved performance rulers that represent the aircraft s historical cornering ability and maximum speed. TAC is designed for portability: the entire game can fit in a plastic bag. Even the largest battles can take place on a fast-food restaurant table. An improved variant of the unsuccessful MiG-1, the MiG-3 was fast, agile, and complex to fly. It defended the Soviet Union during the beginning of Operation Barbarossa. This set is a self-contained rulebook that includes miniatures for the MiG-3 and contains various scenarios: Moscow Summer Nights: Ju-88 bombers and a Bf-110C escort attack at night, forcing MiG-3 to be used as nightfighters Soviet Naval Air Unit 402: MiG-3 and Bf-109F square off at high altitude. Red Swarm: Escort Il-2 Sturmovik bombers to strike a Luftwaffe airfield. Bf-109F fighters continue to take off and replace losses. —description from the publisher
