Hexiom is a 2 to 6-player abstract war game that can be played in single or 3 rounds. Hexiom basic game has no element of luck. Each player's turn consists of the following: Introduce a new hex tile at various heights with a player's unit on it. Reinforce an existing hex tile with multiple units. Transfer units between connected hex tiles. Attack other players' tiles using simple one-to-one elimination. The height of the hex adds a bonus to the defender. Winning the game - be the first to complete a row, a ring, or a pyramid of 6 hex tiles controlled by the player. In the advanced game, Hexiom features optional player perks layered on top of existing gameplay. Each player drafts a single strategy card that is private to them. Each strategic card contains different effects. Players must achieve play conditions specified on the strategic cards to unlock its effects.
