Each player has 11 playing pieces. The pieces may capture each other. Different pieces move and capture differently: Center-Forward (1x): moves straigt or diagonal, captures any adjacent piece Outside-Forward (4x): moves 1 space diagonal + any spaces straight, captures any diagonal adjacent piece Midfielder (3x): moves diagonal, captures any diagonal adjacent piece Defensive players (2x): moves straight or diagonal, captures any adjacent piece Goalkeeper (1x): moves to any of the 5 spaces in front of the goal, may not capture and can't be captured If a playing piece enters a space adjacent to the ball, it may play the ball straight ahead, as many spaces as possible or wanted.
