The story of Thor Heyerdahl and his many adventures was the background for a competition held by the Kon-tiki Museum. There were lots of entries from all over the world, but the there were three 19 year old girls from Moss who won. The game retell Thor Heyerdahl and his fantastic journey on a balsa fleet from Peru to Polynesia. In the first part of the game the players have to build a fleet containing 9 balsa sticks. This is done by answering questions about the journey and picking the right answer out of 4 alternatives. When they have collected the 9 sticks the second part of the game begins. On the long journey towards Raroia in Polynesia the players must deal with lots of challenges the suddenly occur, rough weather conditions and additionally practice on miming in order to be understood once they reach Polynesia. Will you be able to get through the dangerous coral reefs and be the first to reach Raroia? (Translated from the publisher's site from Norwegian)
