Piggy Bank Race

Piggy Bank Race

1991

Designed by Manfred Franz

Published by Jumbo, Mercurio, Chateau

Description

Players each control two piggy banks which race around a track to the finish line. On their turn the players roll a die containing the numbers one through three and then choose one of their two pigs to move that many spaces, skipping over spaces already occupied with a pig. Along the way pigs will stop on spaces which earn them gold coins for their banks, spaces which allow them to put black coins worth -1 gold in their opponents banks, and spaces which allow them to shake their opponents' banks so as to try and gauge how many coins they hold. The first five pigs to cross the finish line earn five, four, three, two and one coins, after which the game is over and all the piggy banks are opened. The player who owns the bank with the most gold wins.
