A circa 1930's English Spears board game. Roll the dice and move your markers on the bright artwork board, to simulate taking a trip through the countryside. Various events can occur during your trip, depending on where you land. The goal is to be the first to reach the center position, the family picnic spot. Plain markers, but a nice board with great bright graphics for the era. And the early edition comes in a beautiful period box with a great painting of a car on the cover.
