The name - Maailman Ymp ri Kilpapurjehdus - translates from Finnish to Around the World Competition Sailing, and was developed in co-operation with the crew of the 1989 Union Bank of Finland-boat which participated in the Whitbread Round the World Race-sailing competition. The map is divided into areas where different weather conditions occur. The players control boats, and must decide how much sail to apply to their boat, and then check to see how many steps they can move their boats towards the goal, depending on the weather.
