Description
Transet is a chess variant played on a 5x5 grid using 5 pieces: rook, bishop, king, bishop and rook. The goal of the game is to reach the opposite side of the board with one of your pieces. The rook can only move one step straight forward, the bishop one step diagonally forward and the king combines the power of the rook and the bishop. The game only has 5 rules. A small change in rule 1 or 5 (which determine begin & end conditions) makes that the game can be played with 1, 3, 4 or 5 players. The game is published in different versions, only changing color and artwork.
