Splitters! is a card driven game about the left wing political movement of the 70s. The players take on the rolls of ideologists struggling to have the movement embrace their separate interpretations of socialism. The game either ends when a player successfully achieves three secret goals or when the last card is drawn from the deck, in which case the player who controls the most party members wins. In the beginning of the game the whole movement is united in the "Party", but during the course of the game the players break out groups of members to form new parties. Each member tile has three opinions, each in different categories (colour, symbol and background). Playing an action card the player combines an action with on of these opinions to rearrange the members on the board - creating new parties, taking control of existing ones or transferring members from one party to another. Inspired by Monthy Pythons "Life of Brian" Splitters! is a chaotic and humoristic game, which still leaves room for tactical depth.
