Hawks Over Malta is the fist Volume dedicated to the first air struggles over the sky of Malta between the Italian Regia Aeronautica with its CR42 Falco and BR20 Cicogna against the RAF Gloster Gladiators and Hurricanes. The system named "The propeller rotates and the engine roars" (Gira l'elica e romba il motor, an old Italian song on Air Force) will be developed into other volumes, with Arm e de l'Air and Luftwaffe amongst others, being centered on the Italian Royal Air Force (La Regia)
