Description

Take an evocative trip across America, traveling from state to state! Re-live history-making events, great explorations, and historic moments, accumulating and spending money along the way. Play Discover America today and re-live America's past! AN OVERVIEW: The objective of the game is for each player to move their player game piece around the board, "the state circle" in a counter clockwise direction. The first move is to the state of HAWAII - the START position. Each piece will move once entirely around the state circle in moves of one, two, or three at a time. When a player game piece reaches VIRGINIA, the last move is to Washington, D.C., our nation's capital, denoted by the blue star. On each and every turn, a player elects to either: SHAKE TWO DICE to select a Quiz card, a Lucky card, a Sorry card, win a free move, go to Travelers Aid, or leave Traveler Aid exchanging money to the Cashier or SPIN "the state selector" to name a state capital. $10 is collected for each move. When all player game pieces have moved around the state circle, the one with the most money wins! Ages 8 and up
