Shelters

"As the comet approached, the townspeople sought shelters in caves in the surrounding hills. But there were not quite enough shelters to go around . . ." Players each have nine pieces which start in the middle of the board. Pieces may move one space in any direction or jump over adjacent pieces, and multiple jumps are allowed. Pieces are never captured. Terrain - roads, woods, and rivers - alters the movement rules: pieces move faster on roads, jumping moves are not permitted into or over rivers, etc. The object of the game is to get your pieces to the caves on the outer edge of the board. The first player to accomplish this wins.
