The system is a straightforward roll-and-move system, with certain spaces having set effects and other spaces having you draw from either a deck of harmful cards (which take your money) or a deck of beneficial cards (which give you money). The one with the most money after everyone reaches the Finish space is the winner. From the rules: "Each player is the proud owner of two homes - one beach house and one primary residence; two cars - a Volvo wagon and a BMW; a black Labrador named 'Stud'; $100,000 in stocks and cash. Net worth of each individual is $500,000." Half of the single rules sheet is a historic description of Hurricane Hugo's devastation. The game itself is darkly humorous.
