Description

Subtitled "The Wild and Windy Game of Survival". Hurricane Hugo strikes, and the players move around the board trying to reclaim insurance adjustments, find their lost dog, and so on. The system is a straightforward roll-and-move system, with certain spaces having set effects and other spaces having you draw from either a deck of harmful cards (which take your money) or a deck of beneficial cards (which give you money). The one with the most money after everyone reaches the Finish space is the winner. From the rules: "Each player is the proud owner of two homes - one beach house and one primary residence; two cars - a Volvo wagon and a BMW; a black Labrador named 'Stud'; $100,000 in stocks and cash. Net worth of each individual is $500,000." Half of the single rules sheet is a historic description of Hurricane Hugo's devastation. The game itself is darkly humorous.
