Boardless 4-in-a-row type game where the players' moves are dictated by the position of nine rings on the table. 9 Rings 4 a Row is played with 9 rings and 40 pawns in two colors. The pawns fit inside the rings. Players alternate placing a pawn in a ring and then moving this ring orthogonaly adjacent to another ring. The first player to align 4 pawns in their color in any direction wins the game.
