Can you escape from the Pirate's Island? Words are out about the Royal Navy's discovery of the Pirate's Island. Their arrival is imminent in 12 days. You are pirates and you must organize your escape before the Royal Navy catches up on you! In order to escape, are you ready to conspire with corsairs in the Island's tavern, acquire the necessary booty from the black market and hire skillful crew? Don't forget that you have to use your wits and discover areas of the island forgotten by its residents! You may even have to setup an ambush in the island's bridge along with "Goldtooth"... How far are you willing to go? GAMEPLAY: Players alternate turns placing Pirates and Deckhands on locations of the board, that they think will help them advance strategically, taking accordingly, gear, allies, supplies or dubloons. Several locations are available in the beginning of the game, but new locations may be discovered later during the game. After all players are done placing Pirates and Deckhands on the board, an event card is revealed that may affect players. When the event is resolved, Pirates and Deckhands are removed from the board and returned next to the player's mats. We've squeezed out of this day as much as we could. Time to rest.
