Description

Translation of the box back: Do you prefer to play with two or with more? Or occasionally alone? Do you prefer an entirely tactical or strategic game? Or do you like a bit of luck or quickness? Die verr ckte Kette offers fascinating variants for the most diverse requirements. The game principle is simple and easily learned. A plastic chain is continuously changed according to the color combinations on the card. But in a single move, a "displacement", the situation can change suddenly. It's enough to drive you mad! And a string of lucky circumstances can set off a real chain reaction. Delightful material, simple rules, multifaceted variants... ... that's Die verr ckte Kette, a chain that will captivate you. Description: This is set of six different games for varying numbers of players. Aside from one game (which is essentially a solitaire puzzle) they are all based on the principle of changing the arrangement of the plastic chain links to produce sections that match card patterns. There are two different ways of moving the plastic pieces - one link can be unhooked at one end and dragged to a new position, or a section of the chain can be unlinked and reversed - one of which is used in any particular game. There are also two different ways of setting up the links at the start of the game. In theory other games could be played by mixing and matching these rules and other game aspects (how stringent the pattern matching is, for example).
