The players choose one each of the 6 pawns and start at the snail's shell in the center of the game board. The game is played with 1 color die. A player who roll his own color, begins the game by rolling again and moving on the spiral. On the roll of any color, the pawn advances to the next space of that color. If a player rolls his own color, he moves and may then roll and move again. When a pawn arrives on an occupied space, it throws the other pawn out, back to the snail's shell where it must start again. From the last spaces on the spiral, a pawn advances to one of the 6 snail heads in their own color as soon as the player rolls that color. The first player to achieve this, wins the game.
