Turku-peli

Players are citizens of Turku and their mission is to show the city to a friend who's just arrived at the bus station. They need to move through several sightseeing places and then end up at the railway station to finish their mission. First one to complete the round is the winner. The play area is a stylized map of Turku with several different routes around the city. Players move by rolling a die. Some of the locations are marked with red, and on those locations something special happens and players refer the rulebook. The game is a fundraiser and promotional item by the Lions Club Turku, Maaria chapter; several local companies are shown on the map and the special locations have references to them. Judging by the businesses and companies appearing on the board this game has been published sometime between 1982 (the Stockmann department store established in Turku) and 1989 (Kestil ended). Not to be confused with Turkupeli which is a Monopoly spin-off set in Turku.
