Description

Dice and Daggers is a simple, fast, and friendly(ish) – or not – dice game. In Dice and Daggers, players attempt to reach 20 gold before everyone else without being knocked out of the game. On a turn, the active player rolls three dice, then chooses two of them, with the other players taking the action on the remaining die. When you roll three-of-a-kind, something good happens! The dice have five symbols on them: Coins: The player gains 1 coin. Crown: The player draws 1 card. Dagger: The player either discards a shield or takes 1 damage. Shield: The player takes a shield token, which can later block a dagger. Thief: The active player must choose this die, although it grants no actions. Let's say the active player rolls Coin, Shield, Crown. If he chooses the coin and the shield, he receives 1 coin and a shield to protect himself in the future should he roll a dagger (or be forced to choose the dagger). The other players each draw 1 card. Dice and Daggers includes rules for five different ways to play.
