This is a small(ish) game about traveling across a small island in hopes of killing all the bosses in the castles. You will fight many monsters, and hopefully upgrade. On your turn, you move, then check for monsters. After that, you move again, but any monsters on the board will move after you. You may fight them, or try to run away. If you enter a castle, you will have the option of slaying the boss, or maybe something else (like searching for something). Combat is the simple mechanic used in most FF gamebooks. Roll 1d6. If it is equal to or lower than the stat being tested, you succeed (hit the enemy).
