The main part of the game are 30 "quotes" of 20 different philosophers. Each player gets on philosopher at random at the start. Each round the starting player selects one of his quotes read it aloud. The every other player "answers" with one of his philosopher's quote. At the and of the round each player has three votes "0", "1" and "2" and has to vote for one othewr player. Points are awarded for 3 differnt categories: Sum of the votes, Wininng a round, losing a round. Whoever "wins" the first of the three 36 point in total or 5 wins or 5 losses (cynics-score), wins the game.
