Description

"Clash in the South Pacific" is an operational level board wargame for Battle of the Santa Cruz Island. Players control either the aircraft carrier fleet of Imperial Japanese Navy or United States Navy. Players manage fleet movement, search for the enemy, and aircraft operation. The basic design is similar to Task Force: Carrier Battles in the Pacific. Winner is determined by victory points based on damage given to only opponent aircraft carrier. This game was designed for wargame beginners. Game scale: 75 km per hex, 90 minutes per turn, 1 ship, 2 Destroyers or 9 Planes per unit.
