Behead Me Twice
1965
Published by Dennis's
Party game, unusually published as a pad with removable sheets. On this sheet are clues to two words. However there ia third word, which is the correct answer to the clue. By this I mean, each word, beheaded (i.e. with the first letter knocked off), gives another word, and this beheaded again, gives a third word. Clues to the first word and the last word are given. The players must work out the middle word. An example; From a shelter for horses to skilful; First word = Stable Last word = Able So the middle word is Table and that is the answer a player must find to answer it correctly. The first guest to hand in a sheet with 16 correct answers, wins.
