Published in 1986 and only within Japan, little is known about this board game version of the popular Nintendo game. Unlike its simplified American counterpart, The Legend of Zelda, this edition appears to replicate the video game as closely as possible. It comes with an overworld map; dungeon tiles; 4 Link pawns in different colors; individual player boards where items, health, money, and tri-force pieces are collected; a die used for attack and defense; and a hefty rulebook.
