Description
"Pouch" Series Game #5 (also published in Conflict Magazine #5). "A border dispute between Mongolia and the Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo (Manchuria) drew Imperial Japan and Soviet Russia into a short, sharp, and obscure war in the spring of 1939 known as the Khalkhin-Gol affair." A battalion-level tactical game. One 17" x 36" brown and blue (rivers & swamps) map with approximately 100 die-cut counters, played in 12 turns. The magazine issue is dated June 20, 1973
