Description

A board game of Flat Green Bowls Well You Bowled is a board game based on the sport of flat green bowls. The object of the game, as in real bowls, is to get as many of your woods as possible nearre the Jack than your opponent's nearest wood. The game is designed to be played by two teams of up to four players, but may be played in on an individual basis if required. The game is played over a series of "ends". Each end the jack is set, then each player places a wood along the baseline and declares the intended length, then draws a card from the top of the deck to determine the position of that wood on the rink in relation to the position nominated. If the wood hits another, then the "wick" cards give directions for the two playing pieces. Players may instead of drawing a card to elect to fire. Instead they draw from the fire deck and follow the instructions. Once all players have played their woods, then end is finished, and the end is scored, and another one started. A game is either played to an agreed number of ends or an agreed number of shots (points).
