In The World Game of Economics each player is in control of a country's economy. This is one of the most important responsibilities facing a nation's leader. Everyone wants full employment, low inflation, economic growth and a high quality of life. As a player of the game, your challenge is to achieve these goals. The game may be played as a game, or it can be used to study current economic events. It is primarily designed for fun and requires no understanding of economics. The special training which economists have will not help them win. However, there is an economic principle behind each aspect of the game. Players who wish to learn more about economics may refer to the "Dictionary of Economic Terms" at the end of the rules.
